    Prepare Saline
    Mix the nasal rinse salt packet with lukewarm water at the recommended ratio. Shake well to dissolve.

    Fill the Irrigator
    Pour the prepared saline solution into the nasal irrigator bottle or reservoir.

    Position
    Lean forward over a sink, tilt your head about 45 degrees to one side, and breathe through your mouth (to prevent water from going down the throat).

    Rinse
    Gently press the irrigator nozzle against the upper nostril. Squeeze the bottle or turn on the flow, allowing saline to flow through the nasal cavity and out the other nostril. Repeat on the other side.

    Dry
    After rinsing, gently blow your nose (without pinching both nostrils) to expel excess saline.
